Born and raised in Laval, Quebec, Jennifer moved to Ottawa to complete an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences with Specialization in Sociology (French Immersion) at the University of Ottawa before relocating to Quebec City where she obtained her Bachelors of Law (L.L. B.) from Université Laval.  Jennifer also holds a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada . After completing her schooling, Jennifer articled in Drummondville, Quebec where she focused on Family Law and Civil Litigation. Jennifer started practicing as a lawyer in Drummondville before moving to Cold Lake.

 In June 2018, Jennifer arrived in Cold Lake as a military spouse keen on continuing the practice of law in Alberta, Jennifer joined Todd & Drake LLP as a Paralegal in Family Law. Over the course of

18 months, Jennifer re-established her credentials for the practice of law in both Alberta and Saskatchewan while continuing to practice law remotely in Quebec. Jennifer has trial experience in the Cour du Québec and Cour Supérieur du Québec and has since appeared in the Court of Queen’s Bench and Provincial Court of Alberta. The skills that Jennifer developed practicing in Quebec have translated well to her work with Todd & Drake.  Jennifer’s practice is a combination of collaborative and litigation based family law.

Prior to moving to Cold Lake, Jennifer had the reputation of being a fierce advocate for her clients who sought innovative and cost effective solutions. Jennifer hopes to continue to build this reputation in Cold Lake and focus on achieving effective solutions for her clients which are tailored to their individual needs.

Jennifer is an active member in good standing with the Law Societies of Alberta and Saskatchewan and the Barreau du Québec (Quebec Bar Association) and is able to represent her clients in English and French.   

In addition to her work as a lawyer, Jennifer is actively involved in the community. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the 4 Wing Military Family Resource Centre Society and volunteers with the MFRC.
